Epiq Construction Services is helping to bring retail back to downtown Cleveland with a 4,200 square foot retail renovation of the Ivory Building on Euclid. This historic renovation of the Truman Building, built in 1911, included resurfacing the original terrazzo and concrete floors, the existing plaster walls and columns, and the exposed sixteen foot high ceiling.
Epiq added new interior walls, reclaimed wood finishes and LED lighting throughout to create the new Geiger’s Downtown. The original terrazzo floors, after grinding and resurfacing, came back to life almost like new. Our renovation experience provided value engineering ideas, including changes to the heating system design, which saved our client both time and money.
